Olympians, NCAA Champions, USA Diving Champions, & Big Ten Champions As a graduate student, Burke will be working toward a Masters degree in Recreation Administration. If you would like to be coached by some of the best divers in the world, look no further. The IU Diving team is comprised of Team USA members, World Team members, Olympians, NCAA Champions, Big 10 Champions, Olympic Trial members, and Indiana University record holders.
This squad has participated in major international competitions including the Goodwill Games, PanAm Games, World University Games, World Championships, and the Olympics. Furthermore, Indiana University has more Team USA members training here than anywhere else in the country! Winning the USA Diving National Combined Team Championship is also an amazing achievement, and the IU team has won 17 of the last 25 years. With all their accolades, the highlight for many IU divers is each summer when camp rolls around. They love being able to give back and coach the campers.
Whether it’s a full out on 3m or a back dive on 1m, the IU divers take great pride in helping a young diver reach that next level. Spencer came to Columbia from Kent State University, where he built a diving power in just two years.
